Aging in Place or Living in Place means having the health, social supports and services one needs to live safely and independently in thier home or community for as long as they wish and are able.

Aging in Place Manitoba provides home safety and accessibily assessments, home modification consultation, and resources for older adults and people with disabilities, to prevent hospitalization and uneccesary placement in long term care facilities.

We keep you up to date with Canadian Aging in Place research, funding opportunities and innovations to help you make informed decisions and plan your future.

We are also the founders of the Aging in Place Manitoba Coalition focused on improving public policy and securing funding to support essential services for Manitobans to safely age in place in thier homes and communities.
